This route really does go into the countryside only. Cross the E313 and canal, heading north to the river. At 10k, turn eastwards following the cyclepath and lakes for 25k, before turning south bound on the VL Kempen and intersecting river. At Leopoldsberg see the first signs of life for 50k! Take a coffee at the Turkish Cafe before cutting through a golf course. Meander back to Oevel, avoiding all signs of life, except in Vorst.
