The route starts by going over the top of Leuven, quickly flatening out until the very final kms.  At Aarschot snake through the countryside to Geel, Ritie and Arendonk. At 95k cross the border, picking up the cycle highways in NL. Here you can mile munch! Small roads are to be found around Oisterwijk and Vlijmen. Cross the Maas and Waal rivers, then catch the EuroVelo2 to Utrecht. Turn back and south, the LF9 hugs the river for 50k until Gorincham. Pass between Oossterhout and Dongen, to the south of Breda. 320k in marks a return to BE.
